The Village Green Flower Shop

$0.00

Shannon was my first bride to book a wedding after I opened my shop last October, and I was so excited and happy that she chose to trust me with her flowers! With a spring theme, she chose tulips (one of my favourite flowers, but also a most unruly bloom with a mind of its own and the tendency to be a bit mischievous once a designer turns her back. Tulips have the ability to grow, twist, perk straight up, or bow down low at a whim). I literally held my breath as I opened the cooler door the morning of the wedding day, and sighed with relief when I saw the bouquets of tulips all sitting like little white angels in their vases just as I had placed them the evening before). The bride's bouquet is a handtied of gorgeous white peonies with a hint of blush pink, some pale pink tulips and silver dollar eucalyptus. The groom and his groomsmen wore tulip boutonnieres accented with strands of bear grass. By the looks on their faces, spring & love was in the air! Congratulations Shannon & Daniel ~ wishing you a beautiful life together filled with love and blessings! ~Elise
